“…no marketing tactic is an island…”

This blog is primarily dedicated to helping companies intelligently integrate sales, multi-channel marketing, and social media to optimize revenue results.  Today, sales and marketing leaders are under increasing pressure by executive management and the BOD’s to change the game, they are demanding operational leaders defend past investments, justify new investments and make intelligent investment and resource reallocation decisions that deliver optimal results.

No one can do it alone.  Clearly, it has never been more necessary than now for sales and marketing to forge collaborative relationships that will insure their mutual success.  Companies are challenged on many fronts:

  • The learn, shop, and buy process is changing
  • Customer access is decreasing
  • Customers believe they control the purchase process
  • Route-to-Market changes (channels and web)
  • Proliferation of marketing channels
  • Advocacy models
  • Measurement systems lag marketing and sales innovation
  • And many more…

As they say, it’s always darkest just before dawn.  This blog will be successful if I am able to shed some light on some very difficult topics and deliver some meaningful insight that improves the effectiveness of your sales and marketing efforts.
